| Scrabble Solver If you're an avid Scrabble player or just curious about words you'll love this little application at Adam Bozon's site, which lets you type in up to seven arbitrary letters, and then presents you with all the English words you can create from those letters. It arranges the results alphabetically in groups with descending letter counts. For example, typing in "mnosrie" provided one seven-letter word, "merinos", and a long list of words of six and fewer letters beginning with "eonism." Be careful though; the site doesn't guarantee that they're valid Scrabble words, only that the words exist. The idea behind Vincent Sanders's site is to teach visitors good design and usability principles by pointing out the flaws in bad pages. (And if he happens to sell a few books or book some speaking gigs while doing it, all the better for him.) Check out Vincent's site and see if you can sense the irony of its title.
