The Flick Filosopher
The main thing to like about this site is the content (they're movie reviews, all written by the same person). The write-ups are short, interesting, frequently funny, and completely intelligent. Beyond that, everything about the site is designed for usability, and it has this lovely mellow color palette. (Sighted by Lori Piquet)
Dynamic Factory
This is one of the most impressive Flash sites I've ever seen. The site sells Flash code; but even if you're just looking, you'll find a huge range of ideas for your own Flash sites here. (sighted by Russell Jones)
Windows RG Demo
This site has a link that will run a very cute satirical "demo" of a fake Windows operating system called called Windows RG (Really Good edition). It's interesting to see what elements of the Windows interface the creator chose to parody and which he left out. In any event, you'll probably find something in here amusing. Wesions Enterprises
It's refreshing to see a Web site whose designers weren't afraid to use white space. Many sites fill every square millimeter of your screen with so much color, text, and graphics, you don't know where your eyes are supposed to go first. Each of the pages in Wesions Enterprises' site effectively draws the users' attention to its content by making good use of white space and minimal--yet eye-catching--navigational graphics. Paintings by Shuchter
Take a stroll through an art gallery without leaving your desk. Shuchter.com allows you to "virtually" walk down the halls of its gallery, perusing the artwork on the walls as you go. A click on any of the paintings gives you a close-up view, and another click gives you pricing information for that work. Be aware that each click opens a JavaScript pop-up window, so you can quickly find yourself bogged down by a slew of open windows. That’s a little annoying, but the site is interesting nonetheless.
