| The Ring The Web site for the movie "The Ring" is nearly as creepy as the movie itself. I was looking over my shoulder the whole time. Don't expect it to make any sense though. This is purely marketing eye candy, but it's well done. (Sighted by Lori Piquet) | U.S. Department of Education This site is a great resource for teachers, policy makers, parents, and concerned citizens to find out what's on the agenda for the youth of the United States. It's not the most inspired design I've ever seen, but it's very clean and provides a great deal of information with a small footprint. (Sighted by Carrie Sherrill) | Lawgirl.com This splashy site is an interactive legal resource for arts and entertainment put together by a woman named Jodi Sax. If you've got questions about copyright basics, trademark trouble, and more, this is a good place to start. There's also a somewhat random collection of rants and interviews from lawgirl. (Sighted by Carrie Sherrill) | SitePoint This resource site for building your own Web site is extremely well organized and covers topics from CGI to usability. It also addresses practical matters such as legal issues and how to actually make money with your Web site. I loved the icon-driven top nav which divides the site into very intuitive Build, Profit, Promote, Tools, and Forums sections. (Sighted by Carrie Sherrill) |
