| American Museum of Photography This photography museum site is unusual. Unlike most of the other ones I've looked at--this one actually has photographs. They're even organized into exhibits and tours. Interesting stuff and well organized. (Sighted by Carrie Sherrill) | Connection Strings .com Did you ever need to construct a database connection string only to find that there's that one bit of information (such as the provider name) that you just don't remember? This site is the answer. It's a site dedicated primarily to one taskproviding numerous examples of database connection strings. Add this site to your Favorites now. (sighted by Russell Jones) | Techdirt In a world of exponentially increasing information, separating the wheat from the chaff has become a full-time job. Fortunately, Techdirt does a great deal of the winnowing for you; it provides tech news, commentary, and discussions on technical topics. Although at first glance it looks like just another discussion site, it's more than that. The site's Corporate Intelligence arm provides custom corporate Web sites and reports. (sighted by Russell Jones) | Encylopedia Titanica This is an amazing collection of information about the Titanic and its passengers. Not just a passing tribute but real information, with a database of passengers (victims and survivors) and crew, a deck-by-deck floor plan of the ship, scores of articles, and a forum. And that's just the beginning. Best of all, you won't be subjected to that annoying Celine Dion song. (Sighted by Lori Piquet) |
